Product Review
Buy River Point Station Vehicles These trucks are very nicely done. They are well proportioned to the prototype and feature such details as drive trains and spare tires on the underside. Tinted windows, body molding, extended mirrors, running boards, and a tailgate that actually operates. The rear of the truck bed interior features accurately spaced grooves in the floor. There is nothing toy-like about these trucks. Even the Ford logo is on the front grille! The High-Rail version features a scale width front platform together with single-axle flanged wheels. The wheels are non-operating but none the less, these are serious looking trucks, even in HO! The tooling of these models was done very well. Angles are sharp, lines are crisp and it is very evident that attention to detail was given to the production of these models. It is our hope that other types of trucks will be produced based on the design and looks of these models. A modest fleet of these vehicles can be accumulated to compliment any modern day layout without breaking the budget. The basic super cab has an MSRP of $15.00 while the High-Rail version comes in at $16.00. The selection of colors are white, yellow, and metallic red for the super-cab, and white, yellow, and safety orange for the High-Rail. While there are many nicely detailed pickups in HO, these should roar right up to the front of the pack. We wish River Point Station well with any future releases that they may have planned for us modelers. We also understand that they are looking to enter the HO scale locomotive market at some point in the near future.
